The Story - At Redeemer
Join us for The Story. It's an exciting churchwide experience that's already inspiring our weekend messages, Life Group study materials, and children and student curriculum.

The Story
"The greatest story ever told" is not just a cliché. It's a story of a God who goes to heroic lengths to seek out the lost, heal the broken, reinstate the rebellious, and buy back those who have wandered from him. That is what "The Story" is all about. It's the story of the Bible, God's great love affair with humanity, and it's filled with intrigue, drama, conflict, romance and redemption. And, believe it or not, it's all 100 percent true. Come join us for exciting journey through "The Story."
Chapter 18: Daniel in Exile
Saturday July 26
Sunday July 27
Daniel is a favorite character in the Bible. As we continue on in The Story, we see how and why Daniel lands himself in the lion's den. Yet, in spite of his predicament, God shuts the mouth of the lions and protects Daniel. It really is an amazing story recorded in Daniel 6:1-28. Join us as we remember Daniel and his faithfulness. He's a model for us!
Chapter 19: The Return Home
Saturday August 2
Sunday August 3
After being in exile, God's people are allowed to return home to Israel. Once again they will walk down the streets of beloved Jerusalem. As we continue on in The Story, we will read the words of the prophet in Zechariah 8:1-12. Not only does he reassure those people of the Old Testament, he also gives us a vision of our future as well....and it's glorious! Come join us as we look forward to going home.
Chapter 20: The Queen of Beauty and Courage
Saturday August 9
Sunday August 10
Esther is an interesting character in the Bible. In the Old Testament book that bears her name, God is never once mentioned. Yet, somehow, God is working out his plan through her life. She took big risks to save her people who were in exile in Babylon. We'll take a close look at Esther 9:20-28 as we remember Esther's part in The Story.
Chapter 21: Rebuilding the Walls
Saturday August 16
Sunday August 17
As we gather this weekend, we will wrap up the Old Testament portion of The Story. We'll remember how God's people returned from exile and when they did, they rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem. But they also once again heard God's Word proclaimed. And on that day they realized the great blessing of that Word. They rededicated themselves to God right then and there...and then they began to celebrate. It's all recorded in Nehemiah 8:1-12. Come and hear what this part of The Story means for you.
